Notice on the Issuance of Biometrics Visas

    In accordance with China's relevant laws, the Chinese Embassy in Liberia will collect the ten fingerprints of all visa applicants including Liberian citizens and issue biometrics visas from December 1, 2020.
 
    The following applicants could be exempted from the fingerprints requirement:
 
  1. Those who are less than 14 years old or more than 70 years old;

  2. Those who hold diplomatic passports or who are eligible to be issued diplomatic, service or courtesy visas;

  3. Those who have applied a Chinese visa in the past 5 years and have been collected his or her fingerprints;

  4. Those who suffer from mutilation of all ten fingers or whose fingerprints cannot be collected.

  Please note that all visa applicants should have their fingerprints collected in person at the Chinese Embassy. Applicants who forge fingerprints or use other people's fingerprints may be denied entry to China and should bear all the consequences by themselves.

    Meanwhile, applicants are required to fill in the electronic application forms and make an appointment online in advance (see the notice on the website of the Chinese Embassy on August 1st).
