More countries congratulate newly elected Chinese leaders

BEIJING, March 21 (Xinhua) -- More foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulation to the Chinese leaders newly elected at the recently concluded First Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) and the First Session of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).     

    The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulation to President Hu Jintao, who was reelected president of the country last Saturday:

    Louise Lake-Take, governor-general of Antigua and Barbuda

    Iajuddin Ahmed, president of Bangladesh

    Bingu wa Mutharika, president of Malawi

    Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, king of Saudi Arabia

    Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali, president of Tunisia

    Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud, crown prince of Saudi Arabia     

    The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulation to Wu Bangguo, who was reelected as chairman of theStanding Committee of the 11th National People's Congress last Saturday:

    Adakhan Madumarov, speaker of parliament of Kyrgyzstan

    Makhmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, speaker of the upper house of Tajikistan's Supreme Assembly

    Amusaa Mwanamwambwa, speaker of Zambia's National Assembly

    The following foreign leaders have sent messages of congratulation to Wen Jiabao, who was reappointed Chinese premier last Sunday:
