Monrovia August 25, 2009: Chinese Embassy in Liberia held a farewell gathering for 23 Liberian students who were granted China Governmental Scholarship to undergo their studies in China from September 2009. H.E. Ambassaor ZHOU Yuxiao delivered a speech when he attended this program, challenging the 23 Chinese Government Scholarship beneficiaries to make good use of this opportunity of studying overseas so as to devote themselves into the service to their beloved Liberia after their returning from China.

A 25 minutes movie giving a paramount view to China was also presented on the program to showcase the 23 students a vivid modern China with ancient history.

Among 23 beneficiaries, 17 of them are majored in medication with others as applied chemistry, math, accounting and so forth.
