During his remarks in a welcoming gathering in Tappita Town, Ambassador ZHOU expressed his appreciation towards Liberian Government, especially the Minsitry of Health and Social Welfare, for their cooperation and readiness in helping China side to implement the China-aid project at its earliest possible way. Amb. ZHOU also urged Liberian side to make everything ready before the turnover of the hospital, which is to be completed by the end of July, 2010, so as to make sure Liberian people benefit the fully equipped modern hospital complex at its earliest time. At last, this senior diplomat reiterated the comitment of the Chinese Government to fully support Liberian Government in its peace and reconstruction effort.

The China-Aid Tappita Hospital after completion is to be equipped with modern medical equipments and instruments sponsored also by Chinese Government, which is estimated to benefit the whole southeast region of Liberia, where the people have long been suffering from the inadequacy of the health service.
