Monrovia, Liberia, May 10: A group of 40 plus young campers of Liberia Child Discovery Camp have had a special Discovering China field trip on Saturday to Chinese Embassy facilities in Liberia, as part of their acquaintance program with important places in Monrovia, capital city of Liberia.

Among cheerful excitements, the group of young campers was guided by the Embassy staff for a tour of the Consular Section, Reception Area, Multipurpose Hall, Sports Areas etc.. The facilities with traditional Chinese flavor left the young campers in awe, with a number of them dancing and cheering at the end of the tour.

China is the first country to build its new compound in the post-conflict Liberia. Boasting its magnificent and China-style modern facilities, the new diplomatic complex had since been regarded by locals as one of the most attractive places in this capital city right after its completion at the beginning of 2009.
