Monrovia, Liberia, May 9: Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has expressed satisfaction and anticipation towards young Liberian talents in playing table tennis while she made appearance at a table tennis competition held at Chinese Embassy in Liberia on Sunday.

At the invitation of Chinese Ambassador ZHOU Yuxiao and accompanied by some of her cabinet members, the President watched the games held between young players of Liberia Table Tennis Association and Chinese Embassy staffs.

With the coaching and mentoring of Chinese volunteer coach beginning almost one year ago, the improvement and betterment of the young Liberian players is encouraging and commendable as President Sirleaf watched games half a year ago played by the same group of children. The Liberian President then challenged young players present to be diligent in galvanizing skills for a goal of competing in the Olympic Games for Liberia in the future.
