Monrovia, Liberia, July 26: Mr. ZHOU Yuxiao, Chinese ambassador accredited to Liberia, on Monday, has been gowned during the 163rd independence day celebration, held in Saniquelle, Nimba County, Liberia.

Cheered by the guests present, on behalf of Liberian Government, Hon. Harrison Kahnweah announced the decision to gown the personages who have contributed great to the postwar peace and reconstruction endeavor undertaken by Liberian led by its President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Among the honored are also US ambassador to Liberia, Special Representative to Secretary General of UN etc..

In presence of the celebration are Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, House Speaker Alex Tyler, Chief Justice Johnie Lewis, diplomats accredited to Liberia and hundreds of other distinguished guests invited.
