Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ren Yisheng meets Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Justice of Liberia Respectively

On November 27th, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ren Yisheng met with Foreign Minister of Liberia, H.E. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. . The two sides exchanged views on promoting bilateral friendly and cooperative relations.

Ambassador Ren said that under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the joint guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China and Liberia have achieved positive cooperative results in various fields, and the comprehensive cooperative partnership between the two countries has continued to develop in depth. Facing with the COVID-19 epidemic, China and Liberia have always looked out for each other and moved forward hand in hand. China is willing to continue to cooperate closely with Liberia in various fields to jointly push bilateral relations to a new level.

Foreign Minister H.E. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. spoke highly of the profound traditional friendship and friendly cooperation between Liberia and China, thanked China for its selfless help to Liberia in fighting the epidemic, and looked forward to further deepening pragmatic cooperation with China under the framework of FOCAC, so as to advance steady progress of the comprehensive cooperative partnership between Liberia and China.

After the meeting, on behalf of the Chinese government, Ambassador Ren donated a batch of anti-epidemic materials to the  Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia.

Recently, Ambassador Ren also met with Hon. Musa F. Dean, Minister of Justice of Liberia, and exchanged views on enhancing exchanges and cooperation in the judicial field between the two countries and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and enterprises in Liberia.
