On February 3rd, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Ren Yisheng met with Foreign Minister of Liberia, H.E. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah. The two sides exchanged views on the economic and trade cooperation, human resource development under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and international and regional hot issues of common interests. Ambassador Ren said China has always firmly supported the development of all fields of Liberia and hoped the two sides can further strengthen cooperation in the new year ahead, pushing forward the bilateral relations to a higher level. Foreign Minister Kemayah appreciated China's strong support to Liberia and said the Liberia side will stay committed to the "One-China" policy and he will work hard to enhance the friendship and pragmatic cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, Ambassador Ren also met with the Director General of Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Estelle Liberty Kemoh. The two sides exchanged views on the cooperation of broadcasting development, capacity building and so on.
