Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E.Ren Yisheng Meets with the Chairman of the Ruling Party and Senior government officials

On February 19, Ambassador to Liberia, H.E. Ren Yisheng, met with Hon.Mulbah Morlu, chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), the ruling party of Liberia. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on China-Liberia relations, inter-party exchanges and strengthening practical cooperation in various fields. Acting Foreign Minister Hon. Henry B. Fahnbulleh, Vice Minister Hon. Abraham K. Kovah, Liberian Ambassador to China H.E. D Mekinley Thomas and several CDC vice-chairmen attended the event.

 

Ambassador Ren appreciated the efforts made by CDC to promote inter-party exchanges and friendship between China and Liberia. He said that with the joint efforts of the two countries, the political mutual trust between China and Liberia has been continuously strengthened and the practical cooperation in various fields has achieved fruitful results in recent years. China is willing to share with Liberia its experience in party building, state governance, poverty reduction and agriculture, and provide assistance within its capacity.

 

Chairman Morlu and Acting Foreign Minister Fahnbulleh spoke highly China's world-renowned development and construction achievements under the wise leadership of the Communist Party of China. They reassured that Liberia will firmly adhere to the One-China policy and looked forward to strengthening learning and drawing on Chinese governance and development experience to deepen the pragmatic cooperation between Liberia and China in various fields and push the development of bilateral relations to a higher level.
