Recently, Chinese ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng respectively met with the Country Coordinator of the International Organization for Migration Mr. Mohamed Cheriff Diallo, the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Liberia Ms. Roseline Okoro, and the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Liberia Mr. Uchenna Emelonye.

During the meeting with Mr. Diallo, the two sides exchanged views on practical cooperation in migratory flow monitoring and management and related epidemic prevention, community capacity building, and women's empowerment.

During the meeting with Ms. Okoro, the two sides exchanged views on practical cooperation in the resettlement and repatriation of the refugees of Cote d'Ivoire in Liberia and related issues such as sanitation, epidemic prevention, and food security.

During the meeting with Mr. Emelonye, the two sides exchanged views on promoting and protecting human rights and carrying out practical cooperation in such human rights-related areas as poverty reduction, food security, health, education, women's rights and empowerment, and rural area development in Liberia.
