Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng respectively met with Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of Liberian House of Representatives Hon. Clavton O. Duncan and Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah Sr.. 

During the meeting with Chairman Duncan, Ambassador Ren appreciated Liberia for "adhering to the one-China principle" position confirmed through legislation and said that the friendly cooperation between China and Liberia has achieved fruitful results. China is ready to work together with Liberia to continue to enhance pragmatic and friendly cooperation in the fields of agriculture, education, medical care, human resources construction, economic and trade exchanges, and parliamentary exchanges. 

Chairman Duncan thanked China for its important contributions to the social and economic development of Liberia, especially during the fight against Ebola and Covid-19 epidemics when China took the lead in assisting Liberia. The government and people of Liberia will bear this in mind. The Liberian side will continue to firmly adhere to the one-China principle and push bilateral relations to a new level. 

During the meeting with Minister Kemayah, the two sides exchanged views on Sino-Liberian cooperation in agriculture, economy and trade, anti-epidemic, and infrastructure construction.
