On May 13, Chinese ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng attended the handover ceremony of the office building renovation project of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Liberia and cut the ribbon for the project together with Hon. Wilhemina S. Jallah, Minister of Health of Liberia. Hon. Norwu Howard, Deputy Minister for Administration of the Ministry of Health of Liberia, and others attended the event.

Ambassador Ren said that China and Liberia have been actively carrying out health cooperation and jointly fighting Ebola and Covid-19 epidemics. Recently, China has assisted Liberia with the fourth batch of anti-epidemic supplies. The Ministry of Health of Liberia is our important partner. In the future, China will continue to work closely with Liberia to jointly defeat the epidemics.

Minister Jallah thanked China for its consistent support to Liberia's health cause,  as well as the embassy for helping the Ministry of Health complete the renovation work. She stressed that Liberia will continue to cooperate with China in the health field in the future.
