Recently, Chinese ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng met with Hon. Jefferson S. Kanmoh, National Security Advisor of the President of Liberia. Defense attaché of the embassy senior colonel Han Xiao was present.    

 Ambassador Ren stated that China firmly supports Liberia's peace building and economic and social development, will continue to provide Liberia with anti-epidemic material assistance, and is willing to provide support within its capacity for the development of Liberia's security and the capacity building of law enforcement agencies.

Hon.Kanmoh highly commended China's pragmatic and reliable aid without any political conditions, and played an important role in the reconstruction of Liberia and her economic and social recovery after the epidemic. He reiterated Liberia's adherence to the one-China principle and hoped to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the security and law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on China-Liberia cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, telecommunications, infrastructure, and people-to-people exchanges, as well as the regional situation, improving the business environment, and protecting the safety and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and enterprises in Liberia.
