On October 12th, Chinese ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng and the First Lady of the Republic of Liberia H.E. Clar Marie Weah attended the handover ceremony of humanitarian anti-epidemic supplies to Liberia held in the Chinese Embassy. Ambassador Ren donated a minibus and a number of learning tools, daily necessities and anti-epidemic supplies to the "Clar Hope Foundation" led by the First Lady on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Liberia, and 10 institutions and charity organizations including the All-China Women's Federation, China Disabled Persons' Federation, China Charity Federation, and Ting Hsin Foundation.

In his speech, Ambassador Ren commended the charity organizations led by First Lady Clar for their contributions to protecting the rights and interests of vulnerable groups such as women and children. He said that China and Liberia are good brothers and partners, and China has always firmly supported the development of Liberia in various fields including the protection of women and children. In her speech, First Lady Clar commended China's economic and social development achievements, saying that China is an important partner of Liberia and that China has made important contributions to the promotion of Liberia's economic and social development and construction in various fields. On behalf of President Weah, she extended sincere greetings and heartfelt thanks to President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people, and thanked the Chinese Embassy in Liberia and the All-China Women's Federation, China Disabled Persons'Federation, China Charity Federation, Ting Hsin Foundation and other charitable organizations for providing generous assistance to the "Clar Hope Foundation" and Liberian women and children.
