On February 23, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng attended the donation ceremony of medicine and instrument to Liberian JFK Hospital by the 14th batch of China Medical Team. The Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy Li Jiang, all members of the medical team, CEO of JFK Hospital Dr. Brown and other leading members of the hospital attended the ceremony. 

Ambassador Ren fully recognized the contribution of the China Medical Team to Liberia's medical and health care, and said that China will continue to actively cooperate with Liberia in the field of medical and health, and work with Liberia to jointly overcome the epidemic.

Dr. Brown commended the Chinese government for its consistent support to Liberia's health cause, spoke highly of the work done by China Medical Team in Liberia at JFK Hospital, and thanked them for providing high-quality medical services to the Liberian people. He said that the hospital would make good use of the donated medicines and instruments to truly benefit the people.

Ambassador Ren witnessed the signing of the documents for the donation by China Medical Team leader Dr. Wang Liang and JFK Hospital CEO Dr. Brown. The donated medical instruments and medicines mainly include advanced medical equipment such as vital sign monitors, fetal heart rate monitors, light reading films and various common drugs urgently needed by JFK Hospital.
