Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng Visits the Vocational and Technical Training School of Liberian Ruling Party

Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng was invited to visit the vocational and technical training school for party members established by the Liberia ruling party at the invitation of Hon. Mulbah K. Morlu, Chairman of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC). Hon. Charles M. Wiles, Chairman of Diplomatic Affairs of CDC, Hon. Peter Bemah, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Youth and Sports were present.

Chairman Morlu introduced in detail to Ambassador Ren the training  school's professional setting, instructors strength, teaching plan and other school-running situations. He said that for a long time, China has made great contributions to the economic and social development of Liberia, and Liberia will always keep this in mind. CDC attaches great importance to developing relations with China, and is willing to commit itself to developing friendly relations with the Communist Party of China. He hoped that China will continue to support the capacity building of the ruling party in Liberia and the development of vocational training schools for party members.

Ambassador Ren said that in recent years, the inter-party exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between the ruling parties of China and Liberia have achieved remarkable results. The Chinese side attaches great importance to cooperation with the ruling party in Liberia in various fields. The capacity building of party members and cadres is an important part of party building work, which is of great significance to improving the ruling party's level of governance. China is willing to provide assistance within its capacity for the capacity building of the ruling party in Liberia.

The two sides also exchanged views on issues such as inter-party exchanges, state governance, and poverty reduction.
