On May 24th, the material handover ceremonies for the Student Union of District 10 in Montserrado County (DINSU) and for the West African Youth Development Agency were held respectively at the Chinese Embassy in Liberia. Ambassador Ren Yisheng attended the ceremonies and donated a batch of soccer balls, China-Liberia flag badges, books and small grants to the above-mentioned youth groups on behalf of the embassy. Mr. Philip H. Roberts, President of the Student Union, Mr. Delvin Aaron Mentee, President of the Youth  Development Agency, and youth representatives attended the event. 

Ambassador Ren introduced the brilliant achievements of the Communist Party of China (CPC) since its founding 100 years ago, as well as the progress of China-Africa and China-Liberia friendly and pragmatic cooperation, and expressed appreciation to the student union and the youth agency for actively carrying out cultural and sports activities and participating in the country's economic and social development. Ambassador Ren said that the youth are the pillars and future of the country, and the youth of Liberia should cherish and grasp the hard-won situation of peace and stability in Liberia, work hard, be positive, stay away from drugs, alcohol and other bad behaviors, and contribute to the national construction and development of Liberia. China is willing to join hands with Liberia to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, poverty reduction, anti-epidemic, human resources development and cultural exchanges, and provide assistance within its capacity for the development of Liberia's youth. 

Mr. Roberts, Mr. Mentee and others expressed their sincere admiration of the great achievements made by the Chinese people led by the CPC, thanked China for its long-term contribution to the economic and social development of Liberia, and said that the youth of Liberia will keep in mind the advises of Ambassador Ren, actively participate in national construction, work hard, and contribute to the promotion of the friendship between Liberia and China. 

After their cordial discussions, Ambassador Ren presented "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" (three volumes) to the above-mentioned youth groups.
