The two sides exchanged views extensively on China-Liberia relations and cooperation in various fields, as well as promotion and implementation of the right to development.

Ambassador Ren briefed that nearly 100 countries supported China's position on human rights issues through joint or individual statements at the 50th session of the UN Human Rights Council, stressing that the international community should pay equal attention to all kinds of human rights, and that the rights to subsistence and development are the primary and basic human rights, and the rights of countries to choose their own development paths should be respected.
