Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng Meets the Acting President of Tubman University

On November 9, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E.Ren Yisheng met with Dr. Emmanuel L. Sieh Wreh, Acting President of William V. S. Tubman University and others, and exchanged views on friendly and pragmatic cooperation between the two sides.

Ambassador Ren elaborated on the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), as well as China's great achievements in poverty alleviation and green development since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, especially the economic and social development achievements of Xinjiang. Ambassador Ren introduced the achievements of China's aid projects in Liberia in the fields of infrastructure, people-to-people exchanges, vocational training and agricultural development, and expressed willingness to work with Liberia to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in education and other fields.

Dr. Wreh congratulated the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, and expressed his admiration for the achievements of China's development. He thanked China for its long-term assistance to Liberia's economic, social and educational development, as well as the scholarship provided by the Chinese embassy to Tubman University, and hoped that the embassy will provide more support in assisting the establishment of partnerships with Chinese universities, campus network construction, teacher training and agricultural projects.

Ambassador Ren presented the English version of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" to Dr. Wreh.
