Chinese Ambassador Ren Yisheng Addresses the Annual Convention 2022 of Liberia National Bar Association

On November 24, the Chinese Ambassador to Liberia H.E. Ren Yisheng attended the Annual Convention of the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) and delivered a speech. More than 200 people attended the Convention, including Hon. Sie-A-Nyene Gyapay Youh, Chief Justice of the Honourable Supreme Court of Liberia, Hon. Associate Justice Jamesetta Howard Wolokolie of the Honourable Supreme Court, Hon. Cllr. F. Musah Dean, Jr. Minister of Justice & Attorney General, Cllr. Sylvester D. Rennie, National President of LNBA, Ambassadors of Ghana and Nigeria to Liberia, Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Liberia, and members of LNBA.

Ambassador Ren introduced the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the major achievements and great changes in building the rule of law in China, comprehensively deepening reforms, and building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, especially the economic and social development achievements in Xinjian in the new era. He pointed out that the lies of "genocide" and "forced labor" in Xinjiang spread by some Western countries at the United Nations human rights mechanism and elsewhere are aimed at smearing and containing China, and they are doomed to fail. Ambassador Ren said that China adheres to the principles of sincerity, real results, amity and good faith and the principles of pursuing the greater good and shared interests, and has carried out friendly, pragmatic and win-win cooperation with Liberia and achieved fruitful results. China is willing to carry out exchanges and cooperation with all political parties and all walks of life in Liberia on the basis of equality and mutual respect, so as to promote the continuous and in-depth development of China-Liberia friendly and pragmatic cooperation.
