On October 17th, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Hon. Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, President Pro-Tempore of Senate of Liberia, and exchanged views on China-Liberia relations and bilateral cooperation.

Yin introduced the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation(FOCAC) and the meeting between the heads of state of China and Liberia during the Summit, and expressed his willingness to work with Liberian Legislature and other people from all walks of life to actively implement the strategic consensus reached by the two heads of state and the outcomes of the FOCAC Summit, and continuously lift the China-Liberia strategic partnership to new levels.

Hon. Karnga-Lawrence appreciated the fruitful results of FOCAC Summit and expressed the willingness of herself and the Senate to work with China to advance practical cooperation and deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
