Wang Yi conveyed the cordial regards of President Xi Jinping to Moon Jae-in, saying that China and the ROK are inseparable neighbors, and what's more important, mutually beneficial and win-win partners. Therefore, the two countries should be in constant contact with each other like relatives. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China-ROK relations have carried on a sound development momentum, and the friendship between the two sides has been further deepened through the joint fight against the pandemic. Both sides should take the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as an opportunity to give full play to the role of the Committee for Future Development of China-ROK Relations and put forth forward-looking and workable ideas and initiatives for the development of bilateral relations in the next 30 years that are keeping up with the times, so as to push for greater development of bilateral relations. China is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with the ROK, strengthen cooperation in economy, trade, culture and environmental protection, and expand friendly people-to-people exchanges. China firmly supports both Koreas in overcoming difficulties and steering clear of disruptions to improve relations and will continue to play a constructive role in maintaining peace and stability and realizing enduring peace and stability on the Peninsula.
