Wang Yi Meets with Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China and Coordinating Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan

On November 16, 2022 local time, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and State Councilor Wang Yi met at request with Luhut Binsar Pandjaitanon, Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China and Coordinating Minister the sidelines of the G20 Bali Summit.

Wang Yi expressed appreciation to  Indonesia's tremendous efforts to ensure the success of the G20 Bali Summit, and said that China will continue its full support for Indonesia to play its role as the presidency.

Wang Yi said that during President Joko Widodo's successful visit to China in July this year, the two heads of state reached important consensus, and confirmed that the two sides will work toward building a China-Indonesia community with a shared future.  It demonstrates the high level of the strategic mutual trust between the two countries. China is ready to work with Indonesia to ensure that the coming meeting between the two presidents to yield fruitful results.

Luhut once again extended congratulations on the success of the 20th CPC National Congress, and expressed that he wishes and believes  China will make more and greater achievements in advancing modernization, especially in the areas of people's well-being. He thanked China for its support to Indonesia in hosting the summit, and said that Indonesia will strengthen communication and coordination with China. Indonesia is ready to deepen high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries, bring into action the vision to build an Indonesia-China community with a shared future and constantly boost bilateral cooperation to new levels.
