On October 31 and November 5, Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, met with Hon. Abraham Dillon, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Liberian Senate, and Hon. James Biney, Chairman of the Committee on Executive of the Liberian Senate respectively to exchange views on China-Liberia relations.

Yin briefed the outcomes of Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and meetings between the two heads of state, and expressed his willingness to work with the Liberian Senate and other sectors to actively implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit and the strategic consensus of the two heads of state, deepen practical cooperation between the two countries, and promote the China-Liberia strategic partnership to a new level.

Hon. Dillon and Hon. Biney both expressed their gratitude to China for its long-term valuable support for Liberia's national development and expressed their willingness to work with China to promote the development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
