On July 7, Ambassador Yin Chengwu attended the donation ceremony of medical supplies for the JFK Medical Center in Liberia. Dr. Linda Birch, CEO of JFK Medical Center, Dr. G. Gorbee Logan, Assistant Minister of Health and Deputy CMO of Liberia, and all members of the 18th Chinese Medical Team, among others, were present.

Ambassador Yin noted that this donation aims to alleviate the shortage of medical supplies of JFK Medical Center and enhance its treatment capacity. It is not only an act of humanitarian assistance but also a continuation of the long-standing medical cooperation between China and Liberia. The donation reflects the deepening of the bilateral strategic partnership, and China reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the development of Liberia's healthcare sector.

Dr. Birch and Dr. Logan expressed gratitude to China for its longstanding and robust support to Liberia's health sector and voiced their hope for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
