On July 22, H.E. Yin Chengwu, Chinese Ambassador to Liberia, attended the 16th Golden Image Award of Liberia and delivered a speech in the presence of Hon. Jeremiah Kpan Koung, Vice President of Liberia and Hon. Richard Nagbe Koon, Speaker of the 55th National Legislature of Liberia, among others.

Ambassador Yin stated that, as a platform recognizing individuals who have made exceptional contributions to peace and development in Liberia, the Golden Image Award will inspire more young Liberians to pursue their dreams and contribute to the country's development. He noted that China and Liberia enjoy a profound friendship and have carried out practical cooperation on the basis of mutual respect. China will continue to support Liberia's ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development(AAID) and work to advance the China-Liberia strategic partnership.

At the invitation of the organizers, Ambassador Yin also presented awards to the honorees.
