Recently, Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ren Yisheng paid courtesy call on the Representative of WHO Office in Liberia, Mr. Clement Lugala Peter and met with the EU Ambassador H.E. Mr. Laurent Delahouse, the Swedish Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ingrid Wetterqvist as well as the Representative of UNICEF Office in Liberia, Madam Laila O. Gad.

When meeting with the Representative of WHO, the two sides exchanged views on their cooperations with Liberia in the area of health, the prevention and control of COVID-19 as well as the research and development of COVID-19 vaccine.

When meeting with the EU ambassador, the two sides exchanged views on their cooperations with Liberia and agreed to share more information with each other in the future, tap into potential cooperation projects and work together to promote the economic and social development of Liberia.

When meeting with the Swedish ambassador, the two sides exchanged views on the situations of Liberia and the sub-regional areas, strengthening the cooperation in the field of agriculture and other issues of common concerns.

When meeting with the representative of UNICEF, the two sides exchanged views on promoting the health of mothers and children in Liberia, the public health, the food security and the development of agriculture in Liberia.
